Having problems accessing C: from MS software. Any suggestions?

I have just recently had issues with Word, Outlook, and Excel not being able
to access my hard drive for information. Can use these programs fine, but
when it comes to saving or inserting files (any intereaction between C: and
these applications) I am getting Not Responding message.

Hey Bob,

I just tried the repair in this article. Still not working properly. Can't
access c: for any saving, inserting, etc.
