Having trouble with Outlook 2002 SP3 and opening mail

[MCSD12]

I have recently started having trouble opening email that is not plain
text.... It takes for ever to open and delete these messages. If the mail is
plain text everything operates normal.

Any suggesstions would be appreciated...
