having trouble with webpages and firefox

Firefox is making things very difficult for me. I'm using shared boarders.
With opera, internet explorer, and even the Linux browsers I'm not having
problems. Firefox is another story.

What's happening is - the text on my pages is squashed up close to the
shared border when using firefox. All other browsers are fine.

Is there a way to make my text the same on all browsers? I test my pages in
all browsers - but things look dramatically different in firefox.

I wouldn't care about it - except firefox is getting more and more popular.
Many visitors to my site are beginning to use it.

I'm looking for someway to control the text - so that it looks right in
firefox. Is that possible?

I'm using a theme on my site (watermark).

You will never get the same page to render identically in all browsers, but
you can get close in modern browsers.
