Header and footer graphics not displaying

Hi,

I am trying to create a letterhead template in MS Word 2003. I have inserted
tiff images into the header and footer to replicated the printed letterhead.
This looks fine on my screen and a few other PCs, but on some the header and
footer does not display at all.

It has been suggested to me that I need to insert the images as watermarks
into the header and footer. I have managed to insert the image as a watermark
into the header but not into the footer as it would appear that only 1
watermark is allowed per page. Is there a way round this? Can I also insert
the footer image as a watermark without losing the header image as I
currently am? Alternately, any other suggestions as to how to solve the
original problem.

A watermark is nothing more or less than a graphic anchored to the header
(or footer) and formatted as Behind Text (and, if it's really trying to be a
"watermark," the color will be set to "Washout"). It can appear anywhere on

You can have as many such objects as you like, but only one can be inserted
using Format | Background | Printed Watermark.
