Header & Footer

I have a document that I use as a template. I have a
header and footer on this docuement. I only want this
header and footer on the first page and not on any
successive pages. Currently that header and footer is on
all pages and this is not desired.

Can you help to to set up my template document so that
the header and footer only appears on the first page?

You need to select the "Different first page" option on the Layout tab of
Page Setup, then put your text in the First Page Header and First Page
Footer. For more on setting up this type of document, see
