header on first page only.

when I inserted a header for name, address, title and page number, I wanted
it to be on the first page only but it printed on each page of the document
of 249 pages.

You need to check the box for "Different first page" on the Layout tab of
Page Setup, then put your header info in the First Page Header instead of
the Header (which by design appears on every page).
