Header on Page One Only

I use Word very seldom and have failed to find the settings that will
provide a header on page one only.

Robin, you have to use Insert, Break, Section - continuous before you get to
page 2. Then, View, Header and Footer in section one, type your header,
click on next section, de-select section button called "same as previous",
then and only then, delete the text in the section 2 header.
