header problem

i am writing my university thesis which is subdivided into chapters. i want
to the chapter title in the header for the relevent pages in each chapter.
eg, pages 1,2 and3 are the introduction, so i want this in the header for
these pages. chapter 2 starts on page 4 until 14 and i want to put the
chapter title on these pages. i would really appreciate your help as i am
having difficulty with this.
