Does anyone know how can i write a scpript that creates a header with the
first and last paragraph headline on the top of each page, just like
dictionaries do?

You don't need a script. Use StyleRef fields. The subject is covered in
Word Help (search for "StyleRef" and you should get a result "Print
dictionary-style page headers".

Hi Joshua ,

I think it can be done. Do you want to make it a macro or as a event that is
to be fired when user clicks a button or something. Should it be done for the
existing document. This should be easy as you can pickup the lines you want
from within the page and set is as a header, that's possible, There is a
property that you can, different hearder for different pages, I am not sure
about that property, usign that you can set a different hearder to different
pages.

Best option would be to make a template that has this macro, so any document
that is created based on this template will have headers and footers of this
kind.

Hope this was helpful.

Anand
