Header Turned Off

I am using Word 2003
I created a very long documents (Business Plan) last year. Now it is being
updated. But it has been passed along through several people for their
updates. Now I have it back and the formating is all screwed up. The big
problem is that the header is not showing up on all of the pages and I can
not figure out why. Ex: The Header is on page 2 & 3 missing from pg 4, and
the header is on page 5 and 6. So I added a new page before pg 4, and the
header showed up. Then I copied the data(from the non-header page 4) and
placed it on the new page 4 with the header. Then I deleted the original
page 4 without a header, but now the next page does not have a header. I can
not even copy the header on to the non-header page. I do not know what to
do. Can anyone help me figure out why the header is missing on some pages?

Most likely, the document has section breaks and the "Different first page"
option is checked in File | Page Setup, Layout tab. If all footers have the
same contents (or no contents at all), the easiest solution is to clear the
"Different first page" option for each section.
