Headline to Normal, Keep other formatting

Hi,

What is the quickest way of changing text from a headline level to normal while keeping its other formatting (font size, etc.)

There is no good way to do this. You can change the outline level of a given
paragraph, including user-defined headings, to Body Text, but the outline
level of Word's built-in heading styles cannot be changed.
