Who do you think you're talking to? This is a user-to-user newsgoup - not
Microsoft support.

I would like to be able to view all document file of any version existing
today
but I have only word 97 (my OS is windows 97)so I cannot open doc2000
version files

what is the easiest and cheapest way to do that (is upgrading is available
and free?)and
what other options do I have

I thought word 97 used the same format as newer versions... but in any
event, upgrades are not free. They do have free viewers you can use to read
the files, but you can't edit the files. Look for the viewers at
download.Microsoft.com.
