Just got home from Mother. She is good and constipated. The nurse called
me at 8 am and said she was not feeling well so I went down. Dr. Smith was
due in today anyway to make rounds, he ordered a liquid for her to drink to
clean her out. She hasn't had a bm in 3 days but today she is starting to
pass liquid and it is brown. If it was black it would be a sign of blood so
he wasn't too concerned.
He also gave an order to stop the Vit C and start a multi vit. Her bood
work didn't show anything out of the ordinary for her. Her kidney function
is down but it has been. Her anemia is a little low but not serious. It
could be low because of her bleeding hemmoroids.
When she had stomach pains this am I swear it was like a contraction.
Sweating, hollaring out in pain. Nurse gave her a Tylenol suppository and
was going to give her a fleet when I left. She was sleeping good when I
left. I'm gonna call the nurse at 3:00 before she leaves to get an update.
