help adding a NOTES field to my form

Hi all,

I wanted to add a notes field to my database. I'm not sure what I'm doing
wrong. When I added the field, it took away the capability to scroll down to
the next record. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks!
Carolyn

PS: Please let me know if you would like me to email the mdb file directly
to you for review. It may be easier to understand what I'm looking for if
you reviewed the file yourself.

Posting an image of a blank Form is not only impolite (dialup users
must wait for the large attachment to download), in this case it was
quite uninformative. There was nothing about a notes field on the
form, and even if there had been, it wouldn't help us identify the
problem.

It should also not be necessary for one of us who volunteer to
download the database; it's most likely that we can help you with your
problem by describing it in words, here on the newsgroup. A couple of
questions to that end:

- What's the structure of your Table, or Tables? (They're fundamental.
Forms are just tools that work with tables; don't start with the Form,
in other words!)
- Where did you add the new field? Is it a Memo field?
- What exactly do you mean by "took away the capability to scroll
down"? Where? on the Form, in the Table?

Mr. Vinson

Thank you for responding to my post. I've already resolved the problem on my
own. On a personal note, I want to add, that I was only asking for help,
not criticism on the format of my email. I've only posted here about 3 times
in the past two years. I'm thankful to all of the people that responded to
those posts, including your self. But the criticism is not necessary.
Suggestions would be much better and taken in a more positive way.

Thank you,
Carolyn
