HELP: ASP & RSS feeds help needed please.

I hope someone can point me in the right direction!

I think I understand about setting up an RSS feed and about it needing
to be an xml document such as "news.xml"

I need to tie it in with a current news database, utilising ASP.
The trouble is that ASP code needs to be in an ASP document such as
"page1.asp"

Therefore, is it at all possible to mix the two and have it all work,
or perhaps use an ASP document to update the XML document?

Any help or URL's would be appreciated.

Some kind of transformation or style must be applied to the XML to enable
the content to be displayed in a page.
