Help be fix the "Error 1304" Problem

S

Shannon

I was having problems with MS office Teachers and Students
edition, so I unistalled it, thinking that by reinstalling
it, all problems would be fixed.

But when I tried to reinstall it, I kept getting error
1304, and the program wouldn't install again.

There is nothing wrong with my CD-rom drive. The disc has
a few scratches on it, but nothing major. Could this be a
problem?

But what I really want to know is if Microsoft will
replace a damaged CD, or would one have to go and buy a
brand new Office system.

I'd appreciate any help.
