When selecting the Analyze it with Exel button from within Access, opens and
asks question twice as to wether I want to overwrite former file, say yes,
but Excel does not open - then must get out of Access & delete file & replace
with uncorrupted copy OR make sure I select a query that works next time I go
to export.

have noticed that the app. I have the qry in, works in win2000, but not in
winxp or over citrix.
In winxp I was testing & discovered
1. that it worked for certain queries and not others (seemed to be related
to data a certain table - but the data did not seem to be corrupted -
repaired the DB, exported the data into another Access DB - no problem).
2. Also, noticed that in design mode, everything worked fine, but outside
of design mode, errors re-appeared.
It appears therefore, to be affected by the operating system and wether in
design mode or not. Maybe someone else can shed further light on?????
