OK, for starters, I messed up. I ran the extvtbls.sql script IN IT's
ENTIRETY against my PS database. Unfortunately this dropped all of my view
tables. Upon re-reading the f'ing instructions they do say "Copy the Alter
statements into Query Analyzer...", although the script includes a lot of
drop/create statements as well (suggestion to MS - MAKE 2 SCRIPTS instead of
1, or at least add a warning to the instructions in the Portfolio Analyzer
OLAP Extensions paper!!!!). After this I couldn't log in to PS via the login
page. I tried the solution to the 5001 error posted on the knowledgebase,
but this did not work. I restored the PS database to last night's full
backup - this did not work. I ran editsite and got it to connect OK using
the parameters in the DSN and looked through the data using enterprise
manager - all my PS data seems to be there. I reset the web server and the
database server. No love there. I just can't seem to connect from the web
side at all. Can anyone please help!!!
Thanks
