HELP - can't find info on single-server installation

My intention is to install Project Server (SharePoint
etc...) on one Compaq DL 380. I have not been able to
locate installation documentation which outlines the
specific steps for a single-server "workgroup"
install...in fact, what I've found so far is conflicting.

I'd appreciate any information regarding Project Server
installations.

That is the way I am running it now. I accessed the MS Project installation sequence in the provided help file(s). Everything works great. Basically: SQL2000 - Sharepoint TS - Project Server. Easy!

You'll find a help file named pjsvr.chm on the Project Server CD inthe DOCS folder; or just insert your Project Server 2003 CD and select Installation Guide from the menu. Click on the + next to the Installing Project Server 2003 item, and then click the + next to Single Server. I have followe dthese instructions to load up several servers complete with Windows SharePoint Services and Sample Data. It works. You'll need to locate a separate set of instructions to configure the sample data, but that's a different topic entirely.
