HELP - Cant Open the MDB database

Hi all, hope this is the right group to post this!

When i try to open my .mdb file i get this message:

Records cannot be read; no read permission on 'MSysAccessObjects'

Anyone got any ideas?

Is it your database?
Is it running on the same PC where you created it?
Did you apply user level security?

Sounds like a security issue to me and probably should go to the
appropriate group.

Hello - it is my database (pod.mdb) . it is running on the same pc, and
no security levels assigned other than microsoft access's defaults.

Some thoughts:

What have you done between the last time you used it and the time it
stopped working (upgraded the OS? upgraded Office? installed other
software? ...)?

Can you open the database on another PC?

Have you tried a compact/repair?

What version Access are you using?

Do a Search to see how many .mdw files are on your system.
