help checking hotmail on outlook express

thanks for answering. the error message is "http error. the server does
not support this request."

Is there a numerical error or one that starts with 0x as well? Do you get
any mail from other email accounts. Is your hotmail accessible thru a web
server? Actually, I didn't know you could access hotmail thru POP3. Does
hotmail support SMTP as well?

Hi Frederick,

The numerical error is 1501. My hotmail account is fine and is accessible
through the web interface and my other pop email accounts are accessible
through outlook express. I was able to check my hotmail account through
outlook express for years and then a week or so ago it just stopped.

I noticed on the hotmail website that the instructions are only for outlook
not outlook express. is this new? have they just made it incompatible with
OE ?

any advice would be apreciated.

Hi

It may be a recently introduced incompatibility problem. Is your problem
