Help! Creating Subform that shows all information!

First I will explain what I am trying to do. I have created a Company Table
and a Contacts Table, I now would like to see in a form the information from
the Company Table automatically come up (i have got this far successfully
using autofill) What I would like on the form now is when I autofill that
company's name, I would like it to automatically come up in the subform
section all the entries (from the Contacts Table) that relate to that
Company. For Eg. the date that they contacted the company and what was
discussed etc.
I have followed some examples that people have posted here, and it seems to
work when I create a new table from scratch, but not when I do it with my
existing data? What could possibly be wrong??
