I have a user that was trying to delete a project from Project Server
2002, when their PC locked up. Now, the project is not listed in
Microsoft Project Professional, but it is listed in Project Web Access
(PWA). I tried to run PWA to delete it there, however, it says it is
checked out. I ran SQL Enterprise Manager and opened the table
MSP_PROJECTS, and the project is not listed, so I cannot mark it as
checked in. I also tried opening it in Project Pro via ODBC and again
it is missing. I also tried the Project Server Cleanup Tool, as well
as the Duplicate Project Tool, and it is not listed in either tool.
Where else besides MSP_PROJECTS would PWA be pulling the project from
so I can delete it? The user needs to publish their new project as the
same name, but I want to avoid a conflict with this corrupted(?)
project. Can I just have the user republish the project as the same
name, or will this cause me more grief?
Thanks in advance.
