Can anyone help me with probably a real simple inquiry. I recently upgraded
from Word 2000 to Word 2003. I am trying to mail merge labels (3 up per
page) from a DBase database.

The program finds the data, however it only displays one label per page and
when I run a print it runs one label per page (the first record is on page
one, the 31st record is on page two, the 61st record is on page 3..... and
so on - but records 2 through 30 do not print on the page).

Arghhhh.... Word 2000 was simple to do merges. I am pulling my hair out.

Thanks for any assistance.

What has happened is you neglected to replicate the labels during the
merge process. All the labels have a NextRecord merge field in their
table cells. So, what you will want to do is open your label form.
Turn on the Mail Merge toolbar. (Right Click in the toolbar area and
select Mail Merge) In the middle of the toolbar is an icon which if
you float your mouse over it, the tooltip says "Propagate Labels".

Click that button, and anything that you have in the first label will
duplicate into the remaining 29 labels. Now you can click the Merge
to New document button and all your records will be displayed.
