HELP! Error 1324 When I try to install ppt 2002 on XP

for some reason PowerPoint no longer runs on my machine. I have a full
version of ppt (2002). When I try to re-install ppt I get the error message
1324 "The folder path 'Program Files' contains an invalid character" The
install wizard will not run and I can not get past this error. Suggestions
please!

What version of Windows are you running? I know you mentioned XP, but that
could be Office.

You should read through the article I pointed you to and try the various things.
Also, are you logged on as administrator? If not, what is your user ID that
you're logged on as? Does it have any non-alpha characters is the ID?
