Help finding 4 fold, 8 1/2 by 11 template

J

Jana

Hi-

I would appreciate any help anyone would be able to provide me with. I am
trying to create a mailable invitation out of a regular 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of
paper. I am looking for a 4 fold template where I can put all my
information, so then I can just fold up the invites, and mail them off.

Unfortunately though, I was not able to find what I was looking for on this
site. And after sifting through multiple other websites, I also did not come
up with anything. I'm thinking this should be pretty easy, but I just am
having problems tying to manually create my own template. Does anyone
currently have a template like this they can reply with?

Again, any help would be highly appreciated!

Warm regards-
Jana in Wisconsin. ;)

Thanks Paul. Yeah, I noticed this area too. However, there is not a
template for a foldable invite (where after folding there would be
information on the front, inside(s) and back of the invite). These invites
are designed mainly to be printed on one open page, or are formatted for
folding, but not to the specs I am looking for. Thanks for your help though.

Hi JoAnn-
Unfortunatley, I do not have Microsoft Publisher. Although, I heard
Publisher is a fantasitc tool, I was going to try to do this in MS Word. Do
you have any templates I could use for Word? Basically I think I just need
to divide the page up into 4 pieces, but I am having the hardest time trying
to figure out how to effectively do that.
Thanks for your help. I appreciate it. ;)

I wish I could help you but I never do projects like that in Word. I find
that I end up fighting the program to position graphics and/or text.
Creativity suffers with frustration and Publisher allows me to play with the
components of my work until I'm 99% happy with the results. (I've tried
going for 100% but the truth is that I'm never completely satisfied with my
work.)

Thanks JoAnn-

Looking into getting publisher may not be a bad idea. It sounds like it is
much easier to use than MS Word for project such as these.

I think it is. If your system can support it, download the trial and play
with it. See if you like the freedom it gives or if you think it's a PITA.

1. Please lower your caps.

2. Sometimes templates just don't exist. If you need one, then you can start
with something similar and edit it to suit your needs or start with a blank
document.
