Help finding accumulative data

Hey, I have just started using Access for the first time in about 3 years and
I am a bit stuck. I have a table set up that has all of the data that I
require. The table has a number of different dates in it. I also have set
up a query with the table that will show percentages.

When I create a report, it is perfect and it shows the data from the date
that I selected. What I need, however is for the report to calculate the
percentages over a weekly basis instead of just a daily basis.

When creating the report, I am asked to enter the date that I require. With
this I can add a range of dates, say from the 16-May-2005 to 20-May-2005
however at the moment the report will list each date. I need the report to
calculate the percentages for the days in between the dates that I entered so
that it shows one result for the date range rather than each day that I
entered.

I have not used Access in a while and do not know if there is a way in which
you can make this work. Maybe you can enter a formula in the query to make
it add the percentages. If anyone can help me it would be greatly
appreciated.
