I am having the same problem. I downloaded Office 2007 Ultimate and my Help
function does not work. I have run diagnosticts and tried to "repair", but
no problems have been found and it still does not work.

Can you be a bit more vague? What does "it does not work" mean EXACTLY?

<sigh> What does "does not work" MEAN?
Do you mean that if you click on Help nothing happens, or a blank page
appears or what?

When I try to go to help by either the button or F1, it first states there is
a setup error and then it states it is installing and then that there are no
help files for what I am asking. I don't have the exact words as I am at
work and the Office 2007 is on my home computer. I tried repair and ran a
diagnostics and it still doesn't work. I got Office Ultimate 2007 by
download, but I recently got the disk in the mail. Not sure what to do.

Well I would uninstall, clear your temp files, re-boot and then re-install
from the disk.
Your data should stay intact, but in computing stuff happens! Backup as a
precaution first....
