HELP has vanished! On clicking HELP empty box appears.

My help has disappeared! When I click on help in all/any programs just an
empty box appears. How do I reactivate or reload it? Is it on the XP or the
Office disk? Or maybe it's not been deleted in error, but deactivated.
Don't remember doing this! All comments/help gratefully received. Kes

After furious head scratching, Kes asked:

I tried this and followed the instructions to the letter. Rebooted the
system but it STILL WON'T WORK! Grrrr

I have changed and saved the registry changes and also put in the CD and run
repair facility, but HELP is still BLANK. Someone somewhere must have the
answer.....Please!!
