hi,
i am making a databse of cds that i wil be linking to a vb form to mak
a media player type thinggy.
my problem is that in my database i have this layout,

and i have a query that i use to input data, whenver i add a new recor
that has the same artist or is on the same album a new instance o
artist or album is created in the album/artist table. is there
general thing that causes this, a common fault in making th
database??
the IDs are created using auto-number so i can add data from the v
form in the end, so i dont have to add ids myself.
