HELP, I am getting two copies of each email? How do I stop it?

For each eamil received I get two copies, how do I stop it? One is quite
enough.

See what happens after disabling the superfluous e-mail scanner in your
anti-virus product. Fro some, like AVG, disabling their e-mail scan
function is not sufficent and they require uninstallation to then follow
with a custom install where you elect to NOT include their e-mail
scanner.
