Help ! Importing old mail

I upgraded from ME to XP. My mail is working fine but I need to import my
old mail. I did a search for "inbox" and found the big old mail folder and
the tiny new one. I then used the "import" command under "file" in Outlook
Express 6.0 and tried to import in a million different ways.

Everytime I did this, I got a message that said that there were no valid
messages.

Why do they make this so hard ?

I still have my real old mail backed up on a CD and I never have been able
to import that either.

Any help appreciated. I'm not a computer expert, but I'm reasonably skilled
and should be able to figure this out.

Did you try choosing the option to Import Mail from an OE6 store directory?
I always use that method and have never had a problem.

Ask in an Outlook Express forum. This is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.

I always use that method and have never had a problem.
