HELP! Mail in INbox disappeared!

Lisapbs

Using Windows XP, Outlook 2003. This morning, all the mail in my Inbox
disappeared. I have searched this forum, but none of the suggested solutions
seem to apply.

I do have mail view set to messages, and I do have "Auto Archive" set to on,
but most of this mail was only days old. I don't seem to be able to open
"Archive Folders," assuming I'm spposed to be able to.

When I search for specific messages or senders I know were there, nothing
comes up. Am I crazy? Can I get this mail back? How? Thanks, Lisa

Hi Lisapbs,

You should follow this process: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287497
However before doing that you could do a search on your PC for all files
ending in .pst [That's "dot pst"] (usually Personal Folders.pst)
Select the option to search for hidden files.

Copy these pst files somewhere safe - just in case.

Good luck

http://mymessagetaker.com Stop using those paper phone message pads - make
the computer work for you (not the other way around)!
