I have tried many and love www.IXWebHosting.com. They are so good for us
non-techies because they have such good customer service. With actual English
speaking people to talk to (or 24/7 Live Chat). You can also have up to 30
different websites with one account. If you only have one website, you can
also consider www.GoDaddy.com. I love any of these folks that have great
customer service. Which is a lifesaver for those of us that are not super-web
designers.

There are many condiderations in choosing a host- cost, tech
support, customer service, and most importantly- what your
web is and will be. If you are just going to have static
html pages, then it is easy. If you start needing active
content, and are going to use ASP, PHP or other server
languages, you will need to have a host that will support
the technologies you use.

Many times you ISP will have webspace included in your
package. I keep a 9.95/month dial up account because it
includes 50MB of webspace. I paid a one time charge for
setting up the domain name- and all I pay is my monthly ISP
cost

SetupSite.com has been very good for me. Fantastic up-time and very knowledgable and
responsive tech support. They offer just about everything except shopping carts.
