When I click the Help menu and select Word Help, a window opens that has no close, or resize controls. I can't find a way to close the Help Window.

It has become stuck under your toolbars.

Change your screen resolution to something silly, which will enable you to
get onto the top of it and drag it into the middle of the screen. Then put
your resolution back where it was and position the window where you would
like to see it.

Then Exit Word so it stores that position for you.

Cheers
