Office 2007 custom dictionary is located for each user here by default:
C:\Documents and Settings\"your user name"\Application Data\Microsoft\UProof
and is called Custom.dic. Depending on the operating system you may be able
to get to it easily (XP) or much more difficult (Vista.)

Location in Vista is C:\Users\{Your User
Account}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\UProof and is just as easy to get to as
XP.....

Thankyou LV and Gord, that does the trick. It took me a while to find out how
to view the hidden files. Thanks for your time guys.

Actually that depends on how security is set up in Vista. I have V.
Ultimate, logged in to my account as administrator and still can not get
into the location you specified. Vista denies access to that area and also
the Documents and Settings folder using Windows Explorer. UAC is turned off
on this machine. To gain access permissions need to be changed on this
version of Vista for access thereby my stating "much more difficult.".

Strange. I get to that location in a Standard user Account with UAC still
on......

What version of Vista are you using? Since I have been logged onto a domain
network (but not actually joined the domain) that possibly could be the
situation with mine. And it is an HP computer which may be the other issue.

Home Premium

Very probably - there might be a Policy set to stop you....
