hi hello, sorry for a noob not introducing himself but i need exce
help.

i need to know how to:

when you update something on one spreadsheet, i need the data to b
automatically updated on another spreadsheet in the same file (thin
theyre called tabs at the bottom of the screen)

so for example: if im doing exspenses, with three different sheets, an
one piece of data such as 'fuel' is fixed for all three, i want to b
able to change the value of 'fuel' in one sheet and have i
automatically change in the other two?

any help would be great

using excel 2000 btw

Hi
You have to link all three sheets. For ex. if your fuel expense is i
A1 in sheet1, you type in A1 of sheet2 as =Sheet1!A1 same way in Sheet
also. You can copy and paste the same formula in any cell and it wil
have the reference of sheet1.
