Hi all,

None of my databases will work, every time i try and click a button, use a
combo box or any of my events try to run i get an error message along the
lines of:

"The expression ........... you entered as the event property setting
produced the following error: Object or class does not support the set of
events.

The expression may not result in the name of a macro, the name of a
user-defined function, or [Event Procedure]
There may have been an error evaluating the function, event, or macro"

I can't do anything on any of my databases and i don't know how to fix it.

I have decompiled, compacted and repaired and don't know what else to look
at.......... please help!!!

If you entered something on an event (like on click, or on exit) that has an
error, access may not allow you to proceed without correcting it first. Go
into design view (it should allow you to do that) of all your forms and
reports, go to properties, click on events and see if you see problems.

I think that you might just have security set to high and it is not
allowing VBA to run?

The thing is, it's doing it for ALL events on all forms?

If not a security setting like Aaron suggested, I'll check for a broken
reference. Go to the following web page for information on checking
references:

http://www.mvps.org/access/bugs/bugs0001.htm

Also just because YOU didn't make any changes, that doesn't mean that
someone else didn't like a System Admininstrator or even Microsoft's
automatic updates.
