help not working?

I have MS Office 2000 Pro installed in a Windows 2000.
OPerating system is on one partion, almost eveything else
including Office is on the second partion. I have
selected "run all from my computer". If I select "runsql"
and ask for help, Help open to "runsql". I then try to
select "update" from the Runsql help page, and get an
error message, subject not available. With instructions
of how to install the help. I do the update of the office
components from "Install/Remove". It says everything is
installed!, which I would have expected since I did
the "full" install to run from my computer. Any ideas?

Hal,
I had the same sort of prob. Spent about 20 minutes
searching in MS Knowledge base and found several articles
on this issue. It relates to SP-1 vs. SP-1a and the
improper installation of MDAC files. I ended up having to
manually copy 5 help files from the CD Rom to the Office
folders. It was messy, but fixed the problem. Good
