HELP! Office assistant's gallery empty due to low memory??

When attempting to select an Office Assistant from the Gallery on Word XP I
get an error message that reads "There is not enough memory available to
complete this operation". This occurs on my brand new laptop which uses Vista
OS. Can anyone suggest a fix?
