Help on Auto Reply

P

PeteD

Hi,

This question maybe a simple one but I don't know how to
implement this;

I would like to automatically auto reply an incoming
message based on the subject or some text on the body. An
example would be a resume received and a preformatted
auto reply messge.

Is this possible? Or, any workarounds, third parties etc..

Thanks
PeteD

You message rules for this. It is located under Tools. Start with a blank
rule and create two rules. Once to reply when the words contain some words
in the subject and one for the body. You MUST specify the action "stop
processing rules" within the first rule as well or you'll reply twice when
both the subject and body contain the words you specified.

Hi Roady,

Thanks for replying.

I tried the propcedure to create a rule and it's done.
However, there is an template required. How can I make
this template for reply to incoming message.

Thanks again.

Create a new mail which you want as template. Then save it as an oft-file.
Then when creating the rule direct the template to the oft-file.

Roady,

I may need your talent again. It seems that the autoreply
only works once from a particular sender. Is there a way
to make it always? Meaning everytime the same sender send
email always get an autoreply?

Thanks
PeteD
