Help on Help - Definition links not working

Don't know if "Definition links" is the proper term but,

When I use Help and click on a highlighted term, that should bring me a
definition, it doesn't do anything except mark it as referenced.
The underlined links to different sections work ok.

Using wd2k (although the same thing happens in xl).
Works ok in other applications.

Thanks, but I already have sp4 installed.

It's a minor annoyance, but an annoyance nevertheless.

I believe that Office Update 262767 turns off the "Show Me" and pop-up
window definition functions in help. See this article in the Microsoft
Knowledge Base for more information:

You may be able to restore the popup functionality by replacing
Ouactrl.ocx with an earlier version (for example, from the
installation CD). However, this may leave you open to the sort of
attack that the security update was meant to stop.

Thanks.
That would look like the behaviour I'm seeing.

Considering the "downside risk" I think I'll stay with the minor
annoyance (have a pretty good idea what the definitions are, was just
concerned that it was indicating another problem)

Hope I'll see the day when I don't have to spend so much time battling
"vulnerabilities" and can get some work done!

Again, thanks.
