Do we have a discussion group on MS Windows similar to this group?
I am looking for help in following matter :
I want to selectively back up my files which are created after a particular
date.
I would also like to back files whihc have not yet been backed up earlier.
I would also like to compare two directories and mark / paint file list
which are not common in these two directories.

Dear Bob I

I got this version after going in Windoes Exploerer-> Help Button -> 'About
Windows'
It gave following message :
Microsoft@Windoes
Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158 : Service Pack2)
Copyright 1981-2001 Microsoft Corporation
Is there any other simpler way to know what version of windows I am having ?
I know that I am having Windows XP. I thought that we are having further
versions within XP and that is what you are asking.

This area is for helping people solve problems using MS Office
applications. As for Operating systems, there are "Versions" of Windows,
such as NT4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows XP as examples. Then within
the Versions there are "Editions". Example, Windows XP Home Edition,
Windows XP Profesional Edition and Windows XP Media Center Edition. So
now you may look for asistance in the apppropriate group.
