Hi Folk,


Have Family Tree Maker V3 that worked happily on '98 but every way we try to
load it on XP the following appears

Error encounter when writing the file C:FTW\FTWBMP.DLL This file may have
read-only status; if so, the status must be changed so that the file can be
overwritten.

File:C:\ftwftwinst\Setup2c Line#:1149

No matter what disc -- same message different drive.

Any help or direction greatly appreciated in wet and very cold Melbourne at
the moment.

I'd suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to Windows XP. This one is
for questions about converting date into/out of Access, the database
product.
