HELP - Paralyzed by "Project is Unviewable"

Word decided to make my template unviewable. I can't think of anything I did
to cause this. Is there a simple way to undo this? I've searched forums, and
the discussions get into multi-step operations that don't seem to apply to me.
I just need to change this status. Thanks!

There are exactly two conditions in which you can open the VBA project
in a template:

- There is an open document based on that template

or

- The template itself has been opened *as a document* by using File >
Open.
