Help please. How to improve quality of thumbnails

Can someone please tell me how to improve the quality of my thumbnails. I
realise that the idea of thumbnails is to minimise the pixel content but
mine are so poor it is difficult to see the detail in the picture.

What version of FP are you using.FP98 produced horrible thumbnails. As each
version progressed they've gradually got better. You may want to upgrade.
