Help Please.....numbers reaching limits and cells changing colour

Hi. Can anyone help?

How can I set up cells so that when that cell reaches a number the cell will
change colour. This is so that I can have an indication as to when a certain
part of a budget is over or reaching limit.

Hi,

Select the cell then
Format|Conditional formatting
Cell value is
Greater than
Input your desired value and select a colour
Click OK
