Is there any way that I can find my Office 2000 serial
number if I have lost the box????

In microsoft.public.office.misc, Alan Edwards
Sadly, that doesn't appear to work with Office 2000.
The web site indicates Office 97 and Office XP.
I just downloaded it and tried it on an Office XP computer and it
doesn't find it.

Just for grins
Do mean the Product Key???
My Office 2000 number is not on the "box" it is on the orange label on the
back of the CD case. Do you have the CD's and the case they came in?? Look
there!

Just tried that.
That also does not produce a product key for Office 2000.
I suggest you give this up. Mary has supplied what appears to be the
only way.
