Help plz. Command button to execute a report preview and filtered based on item selected in combo b

Hey all,

I have been struggling with this all day. I currently have a Main
Switchboard screen with a Combo Box (with items already populated in
the combo box) and a report/print preview command button. What I am
looking to accomplish is to have a report preview output that only
displays information based on the item selected in the combo drop down
list. I have already set up the report, now I am just trying to link
filter functionality on the main start up screen by way of a command
button and combo drop down list. Somehow these two items (combo drop
down list and command button) have to be "married" to each other to
execute this functionality. I have seen this done before but I cannot
seem to make this work for me. For example, there might be a report
that reports on all Employee Information. I want to be able to select
a specific employee from a combo drop down list and then click a
command button that will output a report that ONLY shows information
for that 1 employee.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
