HELP! Publishing Problem - FP Changes name of Home Page

J

John

I have a SubWeb with a Home Page name of "Default.asp".

When I publish it to my server at home (Windows XP PRO with IIS 5.1)
everything works fine.

When I publish it to my bcentral.com site, the home page is changed to
"Default.HTM".

I called bcentral.com support and they told me that FrontPage is changing
the name.

In fact the LOG file says:

Thursday, April 22, 2004 4:57:16 PM Copied home page from "default.asp" to
"default.htm".

HELP!!

BCentral did not give you the right information. The default page on their
host server is default.htm for your account, and FP must changed it when you
publish in order to accomodate their wishes.

You must either use the default.htm that they requires, or ask them to add
default.asp to the server.

Tom,

Thanks. I knew it could not have been something I was doing. But bCentral
insisted that it was MY problem.

How come the FREE support I get on the newsgroups is 10 times better than
the support that I PAY for from bCentral?

Thanks Again!
John
